Description
Ta Prohm temple, known for its overgrown tropical trees enveloping stone buildings, was built by King Jayavarman Ⅶ in the 12th to 13th centuries as a monastic complex. This small vase depicts the temple scene, where human-made art and Mother Nature coexist in the jungle, 800 years after its creation.
This exceptional piece was fired at a high temperature of 1300°C (2400°F) using a mixed technique glazes.
