In 2007, the NCKCR undertake reconstruction of a 12 cubic meters Ancient Khmer Kiln, in collaboration with Chhay Rachna, Archaeologist for APSARA. Reconstruction was lead following results of excavation of Thnarl Mrech kiln by APSARA and the National University of Singapore. |

Aim of this reconstruction is to perform firing like ancient Khmer. This kiln is a researches and educational tool; it will also allow our trainees to understand deeply the work of the fire during a firing. |

Despite its drastic actions, the NCKCR is not granted by any agency. Such firing are extremely expensive, the NCKCR can't perform this type of firing without external aid. |
