The IKCF will be perform from the 11 to 29 December 2007 ; on the main site of the National Center for Khmer Ceramics Revival in Siem Reap – Angkor. Conferences occurring during the IKCF are managed in association with the Center for Khmer Studies and will be perform on their main site at Wat Damnak (www.khmerstudies.com). The IKCF conciliate academics scholarship with applied craft, for the benefit of economical sustainable activities in the region. |

| During the Festival |
Entrance of the NCKCR's main site is free of charge. Everyday, three firings are performed ; Khmer Ancestral techniques demonstration ; throwing on potter wheel ; modeling ; painting on porcelain ; firing in a Khmer Antique Kiln reconstitution (10 nights and days) ; offering for visitors a full animate site. The IKCF is a big festival, to celebrate the Ceramics Khmer Ancestral Art’s rebirth. |

| Nocturnes: December 20-24; NCKCR will be opened to 11 PM to admire Ancient Kiln Firing. Open everyday: from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Conferences: December 13-15; please refer to conferences page. Conferences are given in CKS (near Wat Damnak - Siem Reap) Khmer Ancient Kiln: December 14 - 15; loading of the kiln. December 16 – 23: firing; stoking night and day by crews of potters. This is firing time estimation to adapt at kiln behavior. December 24-28 : cooling. December 29 opening and unloading. Raku firing: Everyday from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM and during nocturnes. Wood firing: 11-14-19-22-25 December. Pit firing: 11-14-18-21-24-27 December. Firing in fuel kiln: 12-15-20-23-26 December. Reduction firing by Armand Desbat: to be scheduled. Everyday demonstration: Khmer Ancestral throwing technique; Contemporary Khmer throwing; Khmer Ancestral stone polishing; Contemporary Khmer modeling; Contemporary decoration of pots; Pots glazing; loading-unloading of kilns; … If you want to suggest or perform activity; please feel free to contact us.
